- Sort pictures of land and water forms
- Make a collage of land and water forms
Supportive Practices
The adult will:
- Introduce and display physical characteristics of places with an emphasis on new vocabulary (e.g. mountain, plain, river, stream, lake, ocean)
- Read stories with physical characteristics in the setting
